Sarajevo handcraft and food tasting tour/2hrs.
This tour presents all the traditional values of living in Sarajevo as a local, not a tourist. Our first stop will be at Kazandziluk – handcraft Street, where you can put your own mark on some of the Bosnian souvenirs. You will find out some basic facts about working on the copper and see how the most popular souvenirs are made.
We will stop at an authentic local coffee shop where we will have some traditional Bosnian food specialties tasting. After enjoying Bosnian coffee, we will continue our tour. We will see the most interesting landmarks and hear legends, stories and facts.
Visit the Latin bridge, where the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sofia happened. We will continue the tour visiting Gazi Husrev-bey's mosque (16th century), Tower clock, Kuršumli Medresa, Caravan Saraj – Morića Han (from 16th century), The Old Orthodox Church. Our next tasting stop is “Baklava Dućan”, a place where you will try a special type of Baklava and taste some of the unique homemade sweets.
In an effort to preserve the tradition, the owner of this family business brings you 100% traditional, authentic, handmade Bosnia-Herzegovina baklavas, made according to the same recipe which dates back over 200 years.

Walking tour begins with a sightseeing stop at the National Library – City Hall. This is the most extravagant building constructed in Sarajevo during the Austro-Hungarian period and served as the City hall, later it was a National Library. You will see a museum with permanent exhibition and chronological overview of important events such as establishment of Kingdom of Yugoslavia, Olympic Games 1984, fall of Yugoslavia, destruction of Viječnić and final restoration. You will learn some basic facts about the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the amusing history of the Inat kuca (Obstinate house) and Šeher Čehaja's bridge.
From the National Library we will proceed on our walking tour with Baščaršija, the old town from the 15th and 16th centuries. We will stop and talk about 16th and 17th century landmarks, including the Orthodox Church, the only preserved Caravan Saraj (hotel-Han from the 16th century) and of course the most interesting stories about Sephardim's and synagogues from the Ottoman period. Our tour continues to the Latin bridge, the flash point where the First World War began, place of assassination of Archduke
Franz Ferdinand. Take a picture in front of the Catholic Cathedral and walk down the main walking street to the Eternal Flame. Landmark dedicated to the victims of WWII that freed Sarajevo.

“hell” brought to the face of the Earth. We will explore locations that played an important role in the defense and resistance of Sarajevo during the siege, and learn what life was like without food, water, electricity, and gas, as well as what happened to culture and sport in the city. The tour also takes you to the Sarajevo War Tunnel and tells you the story of the only light in the time of darkness. This tour will give you an overview of war in Sarajevo and our famous “Tunnel”. Sarajevo war tunnel
was the only way in and out of Sarajevo during the longest siege in modern military history. The tunnel was our only hope for the survival of Sarajevo citizens during the Siege of 1992-1996.
